A long drive, from Huaraz to Bolivia, interrupted in Lima with a visit to the gold museum and in Arequipa, beautifully situated below the Misti volcano. Finally crossing the border at Lake Titicaca, I take a boat to Isla del Sol, a beautiful place to relax. On a walk across the island, I enjoy the ever-changing views across the blue lake with its bays to the glaciated Cordillera Real.
